Standard Height Radiators

Here at Cotswold Heating Solutions we offer expert advice on a range of efficient electric radiators by ELKATHERM®. Available in over 60 different shapes and sizes and with outputs from 500W to 3000W giving electric heating to the whole house.

Electric heaters are a popular and cost-effective way to heat homes and commercial spaces. They come in different types, including electric radiators that create radiant heat and rely on warming the surrounding air. They are available in various designs, including slimline vertical wall-mounted or freestanding models, making them ideal for any space.

Modern Electric Radiators

The modern electric radiators range available includes standard height radiators, vertical/tall radiators, low height (compact) radiators, ultra compact radiators and even dual core options where the width of the radiator is important but is still able to deliver a serious punch when heating your room. 20mm/40mm smart core options available.

Standard electric radiators are becoming increasingly popular as a replacement for traditional central heating systems. They offer an eco-friendly and energy-efficient solution, using electricity to create heat rather than hot water. While they may have a higher upfront cost, they can save you money in the long run with lower running costs and minimal maintenance. Electric radiators are also highly efficient and easy to install, making them a convenient choice for homeowners looking for a simple heating solution that fits their budget and lifestyle.

ELKATHERM® standard height radiators are our most popular range and are 64cm high and only 8cm deep so extremely low profile and sleek. The width of the heater is determined by the power output required in order to bring the room up to temperature quickly. This usually takes just 20 – 30 minutes and once at full temperature the radiator is able to ‘modulate’ and typically uses just 15 – 17 minutes worth of power each hour. ELKATHERM® also manufacture dual core radiators, offering exceptional power and rapid warm up time.

With an A++ energy performance rating you are assured of maximum efficiency at a time when energy prices are spiralling. Now is the right time to ensure you have the most efficient heating in place.

All ELKATHERM® radiators are VDE tested for safety and are also LOT20 compliant.

Warmer Home,
Lower Heating Bills

ELKATHERM® electric radiators save you money in three ways: using less energy, helping you waste less, and, potentially, cutting your other electricity costs and as they need no servicing you will save there too!

Electric Radiator FAQ's

How do electric radiators work?
ELKATHERM® radiators work by producing radiant and convected heat and the fluted design aids movement of the air to ensure no cold spots and importantly, no cold feet!
What are the best electric radiators?
With so many offerings on the market it is important to make sure that you install the very best you can. Cheap convector heaters from DIY shops can prove very costly to run. ELKATHERM® boast an A++ rating and are 100% efficient at point of use.
Are electric radiators expensive to run?
There are many variables involved which make this an almost impossible question to answer. Direct running costs are affected by heat loss of each room, how a user uses a particular radiator/s and their lifestyle. BSRIA have carried out an independent report on ELKATHERM® radiators which looked into many things including running costs and the report is available to download on our website. When making the transition from old fashioned night storage heaters to ELKATHERM® radiators it is not uncommon for our customers to report significant savings – sometimes up to two-thirds.
How much do electric radiators cost to run?
There are many factors which affect running costs and ELKATHERM® radiators are the only brand of smart core heating to achieve an A++ energy performance rating. ELKATHERM® radiators are 100% efficient at point of use and there are potential savings. Please see our blog on running costs for more information.

A very professional company who take pride in their work and which is to a very good standard. Engineers arrived on time on the due date and cleaned up after their work was completed taking away the old electric radiators. We asked for 2 minor changes to the original work scope which the company were flexible enough to carry out.
