Wondrwall Battery Powrplan

All-In-One Battery & Inverter System

The Smarter Way to Own a Home Battery

Home battery systems have traditionally required a significant upfront investment, often thousands of pounds. The Wondrwall Battery Powrplan changes that completely.

With our unique subscription-based model, your battery system is supplied, installed, and maintained at no upfront cost. Instead, you pay a fixed monthly fee over a 10-year period, making advanced battery storage accessible without financial risk or large initial expense.

Choose the plan that suits your home:

  • £35 per month
  • £45 per month
  • £55 per month

At the end of the 10-year term, the battery becomes yours to own, or you can choose to upgrade to a new system. Cotswold Heating Solutions are offering a bold new way to take control of your energy from day one.

We offer Battery PowrPlan at such an affordable rate because the battery cost is subsidised by grid flexibility payments. These are payments earned from the National Grid for supporting a clean energy transition and helping to balance peak load.

Available in 3 different sizes

Cut your bills,
Control your power

The Wondrwall All-In-One Battery & Inverter System is a next-generation home energy solution that puts you in control of how and when you use electricity. By storing energy when it’s cheapest and using it when prices are highest, Wondrwall helps dramatically reduce reliance on the grid and cut household energy bills in the process.

Available in three battery sizes, the system combines intelligent battery storage, a powerful inverter, and smart energy management into one sleek, space-saving unit. Built for flexibility, the battery is IP66 rated and fully suitable for outdoor installation, with a well-ventilated garage installation also an option where preferred. Designed for UK homes, Wondrwall works seamlessly with time-of-use tariffs, solar PV (if installed), and modern energy demands, giving homeowners greater energy independence, resilience during power cuts, and a smarter way to manage electricity.

Designed for Cheaper Energy, With or Without Solar

Many homeowners assume battery storage is only worthwhile if you have solar panels. In reality, some of the biggest savings come from using a battery with a time-of-use energy tariff, and that’s exactly what the Wondrwall battery system is designed for.

With electricity prices varying throughout the day, time-of-use tariffs offer significantly cheaper rates during off-peak periods, typically overnight. The Wondrwall battery automatically takes advantage of this by charging when electricity is at its cheapest, then storing that energy for use during the day when prices are highest. This simple shift can dramatically reduce the average cost of every unit of electricity you use.

Crucially, this means you don’t need solar panels to benefit. Even homes without PV can see meaningful savings by reducing how much expensive peak-rate electricity they buy from the grid. For households with higher daytime usage, this approach can have a particularly noticeable impact on monthly energy bills.

For customers focused on lowering energy spend rather than generating power, Wondrwall offers a practical, intelligent solution, helping you take control of rising electricity costs by using cheaper energy when it makes the most financial sense.

Smart Control with the Wondrwall App

At the heart of the system is the Wondrwall app, giving you complete visibility and control over your home’s energy, all from your smartphone.

The app allows you to monitor your battery in real time, clearly showing how much energy is being stored, used, or exported. You can see exactly when your battery is charging with low-cost electricity and when it’s powering your home, helping you understand, and maximise, your savings.

Smart scheduling tools make it easy to align charging with off-peak tariffs, ensuring your battery automatically fills up when electricity is cheapest, without any daily input from you. For homes with solar panels, the app also helps prioritise self-generated energy, reducing reliance on the grid even further.

Battery Storage FAQ'S

What is the Battery PowrPlan and how does it work?
Battery PowrPlan is available to most UK home owners. It is a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that gives you a 12.8kWh battery installed in your home at no upfront cost. The battery charges when energy is cheapest – such as overnight on an off-peak or EV tariff – and then powers your home during the day. This means you avoid paying expensive peak-time rates and reduce your monthly electricity bill.
How much does Battery PowrPlan cost?
You pay a flat £35 per month, or £385 per year if you choose to pay annually. This cost is fixed for the length of your contract and only increases each year in line with inflation. There are no hidden fees or installation costs – everything, including DNO applications and maintenance, is handled by Wondrwall. Wondrwall can offer Battery PowrPlan at such affordable rates as the cost of the battery is subsidised with grid flexibility payments from the National Grid. These are payments earned for helping to reduce the peak load on the grid and also supporting the UK’s transition to a zero carbon energy system.
How much can I expect to save on my energy bills?
For a typical UK three-bedroom home with gas heating, you could see savings of around £60 per month on electricity bills. Larger homes or those using electric heating (such as heat pumps or electric heaters) may see even greater savings. However, actual savings depend on your energy usage and tariff, so reductions cannot be guaranteed.
Can I cancel my Battery PowrPlan contract?
Battery PowrPlan is designed to give you long-term stability in your energy costs. You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you sign the contract, during which you can cancel at any time. Midway through the contract, you’ll have a choice: either continue with the monthly payments or pay a settlement fee based on the hardware’s remaining value at that point. If you decide to move home, your Battery PowrPlan contract can be transferred to the new owner, helping to enhance the value of your property. Wondrwall will support you with the contract transfer during the sale process.
Where can batteries be installed?
Wondrwall batteries are IP66 rated and we recommend an external installation (a well-ventilated garage is also possible). Installations on south-facing walls may require additional protection from direct sunlight. Internal installations are possible but this will require additional works to ensure all current installation guidelines are met. These additional costs will be charged separately from the standard installation that is included in your PowrPlan agreement.
Do I need solar panels to benefit from the Battery PowrPlan?
No, you don’t need solar panels to take advantage of the Battery PowrPlan. The battery stores cheap, off-peak energy from the grid that you can use during the day. However, if you do have solar panels, the battery can also store your excess solar power, giving you even greater savings.
Do I need to be on a specific energy tariff for Battery PowrPlan?
To maximise your savings, we recommend being on a time-of-use tariff that offers cheaper off-peak electricity. The battery will automatically charge during these low-cost periods and supply your home during peak hours. If you’re not already on a suitable tariff, our team can guide you on how to switch.
Are batteries safe and is there a risk of fire?
Our battery is certified with IEC 62619. As part of this test, the battery has demonstrated that a thermal runaway event will be contained within the battery and will not cause a fire. Advanced monitoring can notify Wondrwall of a potential issue roughly 2 weeks in advance.
What is a DNO registration and why does it take so long?
All batteries need to be registered with the DNO (District Network Operator). This helps them forecast the electricity demand and keep the electricity network stable. Solar PV installations and EV chargers have the same requirement. As the Wondrwall battery provides a high 6 kW peak discharge rate, we need a special permission which takes longer to achieve. The 6 kW discharge rate is required to provide adequate power for the home in the event of a power cut.
