Elkatherm Electric Heaters
The airtight sealed heating conductors release heat to the chamotte blocks without depleting the oxygen concentration in the ambient air.
Choose from a wide range of manual and digital thermostats or opt for our innovative Comfort Control app.
Heat is stored for a long time and gradually released to the ambient air.
The extra large surface area of the heater ensures optimised heat radiation.
Impregnation makes the chamotte blocks water repellent, so that ELKATHERM electric storage heaters can be safely used in bathrooms.

Built To Use Less Energy
To the best of our knowledge, ELKATHERM® German electric radiators are the most efficient in the world. Their unique design and construction means you can warm an entire room and use very little electricity in the process.
The ingenious, fluted design multiplies each radiator’s effective surface area by 5 – spreading warmth evenly throughout the room using natural convection and radiant heating, while the high-grade ceramic core distributes heat across the whole surface. In short, you get much more heat from each watt of power.
Traditional night storage heaters literally draw electricity for the full period of the Economy 7 tariff (7 hours). This results in a large amount of electricity being consumed at a constant rate.
Heat Your Room Evenly
When we turn on our heating we take it for granted and trust it is working in the most efficient and best way possible. The truth is that this isn’t always the case. Over the years customers have told us that they have previously experienced ‘cold spots’ with their traditional heating system – in particular cold feet! The reason for this is actually very simple! Warm air naturally rises and as such, sits above your head, leaving cold areas around your feet.
ELKATHERM® radiators are different!
ELKATHERM® electric heaters have a remarkably clever, fluted design which was created in conjunction with Leipzig University. This design increases the overall surface area by 500% compared to flat panel heaters of similar size. In turn this means they can release an increased amount of heat for the same amount of energy used. Additionally the radiators utilise convection to ensure no more cold feet! Another advantage to this clever design is that you don’t need a larger heater to do the job required, instead being able to use a smaller heater, reducing bills whilst still ensuring the right amount of warmth for that particular room.
Independently Tested
ELKATHERM® are so confident of the quality and performance of their electric radiators that they opened up their doors and allowed the BSRIA, a UK based testing, instrumentation, research and consultancy organisation to conduct their own tests.
In accordance with British Standards BSEN 60675:1995, seven sensors were used to measure the temperature at heights ranging from 30 cm to 2.2 metres with an ELKATHERM® heater set to 21˚c. They concluded that there was just a 0.5˚c variation from floor to ceiling meaning you get warmth where you need it most.
